Look What Charlie Can Do!

Some turkey hot dogs, a hula hoop and a free morning, and look what R and her best little neighbor friend taught Charlie to do.

Nightmare on Mullet Street

Cutting your own hair is a rite of passage I guess, except that R already did this once, when she was three. This time she cut bangs, and hacked some off the sides for good measure. I sent her to the salon with D and a picture and very clear instructions: cut a short chin-length bob, take the length off the back to make it look less like a mullet. This is how the stylist interpreted that:

I would call this the full Joe Dirt. How is this a short bob? How is this not a mullet?

The original Joe Dirt. I guess R is lacking the sideburns, but that's about it.

If you put it in a ponytail it is slightly less awful. Going for this . . .

. . . not really getting there. Now do I cut my losses and pay someone all over again to do it right, or go back and have the original salon fix it (for free?)

An afternoon at one of our favorite places, the working farm at the Littleton Historical Museum.
