Collard Green & Ricotta Pizza

After many attempts, I finally figured out how to make homemade pizza that my family likes. Half whole-wheat, half white-whole-wheat flour with a little honey in the dough; unglazed quarry tiles on the bottom rack of the oven for a pizza stone; coarse cornmeal on the bottom of the crust; bake at 500 degrees.

Ours was caramelized onions and sauteed collard greens with ricotta cheese and parmesan.

R's was tomato sauce, spinach, ricotta and parmesan cheese.

Thanks! We make our own ricotta pizzas but usually use spinach. The farmer's market was out so I only have collards. So glad to see you did this & it worked. EXACTLY what I was looking for! :)

  2. I'm just going through some old Jamie Oliver cookbooks, and he is the master of great things to do with ricotta & greens. I can't wait to try more pizzas. Thanks for your comment!
